Focus is to quickly find paying customers and apply for grants from public organizations. Any one project/company that STING takes on is granted, on average, 1,5 million kr in public financing.
But since building a technology company often is very expensive, we have also developed several unique finance options to suit your company´s needs. These options are exclusively for companies admitted to STING´s business incubator. However, we wish to emphasize that you should see this as an opportunity, not that you automatically will get financing when you are admitted.
STING Capital - unique venture capital fund
STING Capital offers financial support at very early stages to companies with innovative and unique technological products that could develop into companies with international growth potentials. STING Capital invests, without parallel, very early. You must neither have a fully developed product nor have paying customers. The investors in the fund are both public organizations and private investors such as angel investors. Even companies not involved in any of STING´s qualified support programs may receive funding.

The investor network STING Business Angels
The angel investor network STING Business Angels focuses primarily on technology companies at a very early development stage with the specific requirement that its investors lend their business skills to the companies. All the business angels are specially picked and have many years of industrial experience, which means that they themselves have started one or more companies in the technology sector. STING Business Angels is exclusively for the STING-companies and to the present they have invested in 10 of our companies (a total of 35 Mkr). STING Business Angels was named "Angel Investment Network of the Year" in 2006 by the Swedish Venture Capital Association.
