Zebors ZBIOS now compatible with Windows and delivered to first customer
2010-10-25 Zebor Technology has now made a breakthrough on the marketing side, where the company has supplied and installed the new version of its extremely fast runner BIOS ("computor starter") of a customer in the UK. The new version of Zebors product ZBIOS can now boot all versions of Windows and Linux.The background to deal with the customer in the UK, Ishida, was that they where not satisfied with the BIOS that comes with standard PC Card from the Taiwanese manufacturer Axiomtek (based on Intel's Atom N270 processor). This BIOS started in 12 seconds, which was not acceptable to the customer's industrial application. Axiomtek contacted Zebor and asked for a solution to the problem. Zebor has now delivered a version of its BIOS products, ZBIOS, which starts in 1.3 seconds. Zebor is now considering releasing this BIOS product for over 20 PC card based on Intel Atom processors by the end of Q1 2011 and hope to conclude OEM agreements with several leading manufacturers of these PC-cards.
