Rehact winner in first round of Zennström’s Green Mentorship Award

2011-12-14 In fierce competition with more than 30 entrepreneurial companies within GreenTech, Rehact, spearheaded by Svante Bengtsson, won the award in the first round of the Green Ship Mentor Award. The price means that Svante Bengtsson gets Niklas Zennström as a mentor for one year and gains access to Mr. Zennström’s personal network.

2011-11-30 The STING company Brighter’s launch of its patented all-in-one product Brighter One ™ for diabetes self-care, is planned for late 2012. Already, Rubin Medical has placed an initial order for 5 000 Brighter One ™ for the Nordic market.

2011-11-28 Four of the ten companies receiving financing in the fall round of VINNOVA's program VINN NU are STING companies. Berries by Astrid, HelioCaminus and Optistring are awarded 300 000 SEK each. AppBooster, a spin-off from OptiCaller, also receives 300 000 SEK.

2011-11-21 Peo Nilsson has worked in Internet/media for the past 18 years, mostly with starting and building companies. He has been the CEO of Pacer, which was acquired by French Valtech, and the Industrimedia, which was acquired by Danish Aller Group. The latest startup he ran was Booli.se. Now he takes the step into STING to coach startup companies, particular in the Internet/media field.

2011-11-03 The interest in cleantech is constantly increasing. A sign of this is Niklas Zennström's "Green Mentorship Award", where the finalists were recently announced. Among the four finalists is the award-winning cleantech company Rehact AB with its innovative solutions for energy efficient buildings.

2011-10-21 Yesterday was the closing ceremony for the Go Global Medtech, an annual program organized by the business incubator STING, in Kista Science Tower. A jury of experienced people from the Medtech industry appointed BioResonator to the company that most successfully its strategy to expand globally.
