Area of Expertise

I've worked in all the three sectors now jointly comprising the internet/cellphone industries. The three areas are data, telecom and content for internet and mobile services.  My speciality is thus ICT. Concerning business activity, I am most experienced in sales, both direct and indirect.

Driving Force

I find it extraordinarly fun to sell and be rewarded with satisfied customers. For the work at STING, this is what concerns me the most: helping entrepreneurs jump start their sales and share the joy in successfully closing a transaction. I'm interested in people, how an individual is motivated and how an entire team can grow and become more effective. I also find it stimulating to help develop Sweden's most important resource: export oriented companies.

From Idea to Export Company

Of principal necessity is motivation and proper attitude in ithe individuals who are building the company. You have to address a problem so important to the target group that the customer will buy a product to solve that problem. The customer must also be willing to pay well for the product since it's solving a serious problem. An early understanding of the importance of sales and the hard work that goes into succeeding with sales goes a long way.

At STING the company gains access to a highly qualified business coach with true experience in building, developing and leading technology companies and who is prepared to spend at least 1/2 day per week with the company. Background

During the last few years I've helped develop new export oriented technology companies, working on everything from financing to sales. For fifteen years worked with sales, for instance at a large american software company. I have founded, bought and sold companies. My experience also includes CEO roles and boardwork. At the beginning of 2000, venture capital was my priority. I have also worked a great deal with product development (pioneer work with minicomputers, office software, PC's, services/content on the internet and IP). From the start, I'm an officer and a behaviorial scientist. Recruitment, selection, and leadership were my first areas of expertise.
