The final shortlist! 25 cleantech companies now selected for Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2009

The scene is now set for the final 25 promising young entrepreneurial cleantech companies to meet leading international investors and decision makers on Scandinavias' largest cleantech investment day - Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day, the 29th of September, 2009.
The 25 companies have been carefully selected out of more than 45 applicants. Important factors in the selection process: the company should have a ready to market product or service, have at least some initial turnover from sales or research and be in an early expansion phase where funding and new investments are necessary for further growth.
The total investment need of the business cases at 2009 years' event is 55- 70 M? (approx. 600 - 780 MSEK). These are the selected companies:

Joint venture event Stockholm Innovation and Growth (STING), Stockholm Cleantech Business Network and Cleantech Scandinavia have joined forces to co-organise Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2009, which will be held in Stockholm, Kista Science City.
"Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day has established itself as the most important meeting place for entrepreneurs and investors in the field of cleantech. This year we have had the opportunity to make an extraordinary selection of promising companies from all over the Nordic region and throughout most fields of cleantech applications", says Magnus Rehn, Business Coach at Stockholm Innovation & Growth, STING.
"We are certain that the attention on Scandinavian cleantech companies this year is bigger than ever as Sweden holds the EU-presidency leading up to the climate conference in Copenhagen.
